This model takes a licking and wont break anytime soon. It replaces the same model from 10 years ago. Overstick selection and supply services are really good.

It is a good reliable watch that can be easily read in the dark.

Trusty Timex
I've always owned Timex watches (except for the gift Benrus that drowned in my pool). They have never disappointed. This one has a nice big easily-read face with attractive numbers. I've never been able to get the date to work right, so I don't worry about it. As far as sizing is concerned, I've found that over time the band stretches a little and ends up being a little big, but when it's new and tight it pinches a little, so I'd just as soon have it a tad loose. I AM sorry, that said, that it is becoming more and more difficult to buy these good-quality low-priced watches with a band that can be swapped out and replaced by a new band: Watch bands sold separately seem to have become a thing of the past, too bad. The low-down: I LOVE my Timex, and I love Overstock.com: Needed a watch (see Benrus tragedy above), was about to buy it at Penney's, found it at Overstock for 30% less including shipping.

I can read the date!
It runs just fine, but what I like most is that I can actually see the date! Most date watches, even when they have that little magnifying spot over the date, are hard to read. I can actually tell what day it is with a glance at the watch.
