Overall, this is a nice watch for occasional wear. If that is the intention of the buyer, I think the buyer will be happy with their choice. For an everyday watch, there are better choices.
The watch is smaller than I imagined it would be, but most women will probably be happy with the smaller size. The case is very well done - simple and elegant. It is plated, of course, so in everyday wear that plating will wear off and the watch will look shabby unless refurbished (hence my earlier comment about this watch not being an everyday watch).
I am still undecided about the band. Citizen is all over the place with their clasps/buckles and this is not one of their better ones. A deployant clasp would have been a much better choice than the traditional buckle. I don't expect the band to last long at all. The color of the band is something else. It's not really gold, as it appears in the picture, but a muted champagne color with a tiny bit of gold flecks. It's not very sparkly at all, and that's probably a good thing, the muted champagne is more low-key. At some point, I will probably change the band to a black leather or satin band and I think the watch will look fantastic that way - it will look like a more upscale watch with a black band.
For my everyday watch, I wear a Tissot with a sapphire crystal and a stainless band and it's a solid watch. This Citizen will make a nice occasional dressy watch when I want a gold look. For the price, it's a nice style and can mimic some much more expensive watches.
