Absolutely Worth It
I have worn this watch everyday since I ordered it off overstock.com in June 2010 and I am only considering buying another Eco-Drive because I'm getting sick of looking at it! It has always kept accurate time, and both the band and dial window are surprisingly scratch resistant. I do dishes with it, cook, do laundry, I've even forgotten to take it off while rock-climbing and it held up. I have not fully-submerged it in water for an extended period of time. On how it looks, the gold-tone is pretty subtle (think of it as a stainless watch with some gold-tone accents). My wrists are on the small side, and I don't think the face is big, but this is not a dainty "evening" watch; it's certainly an every-day watch.

Free Of Batteries
This was a good bargain. I always look at watches at overstock .com. I decided to purchase because it requires no batteries. I knew the brand Citizen was reputable. The face was a little bigger than I usually like but it works. I like that they put roman numerals and lines for numbers! Very classic watch which I prefer.

"Yellow Goldplated Steel" apears silver, not gold
The "Yellow Goldplated Steel" apears silver, not gold. Although the image on site shows a big color differentiation between the yellow and stainless steel parts of the band, in person it all appears to be almost pure silver. Also the watch did not run--I guess that the Eco Drive was depleted from being closed up in a box for so long.
