Two things to point out off the bat: I just got this watch today, but I assume that this Ecodrive will hold up like other Citizen watches. Overstocks price is not as competitive as other online retailers that are selling the watch for $150, but with a 15% off coupon, $175 drops down to that price. The watch is very light and I only recognize that it is on my wrist because it feels much more smooth and cool than previous watches. It is also has a much thinner and more sophisticated look than the pictures give credit. It has a very nice nickle brush finish that contrasts nicely with the non-nickle brushed lines that go along the band and highlight the face of the watch (the nickle brush finish is also on the underside of the band and the face which keeps the watch from sticking to my wrist like other metal watches). The dial looks black, until it catches some light, and then it has this brilliant dark navy blue shimmer that flashes the tight concentric circles that can only be described as looking like a newly finished disk brake (if the rotor were blue-crome). The hands and numbers are nicely accentuated with a bright glow in the dark yellow-lime green, and highlighted (the numbers) with a dark crome outline and (the hands) with white. The hours and minures are maked, and the detail that you can see on the dial shouts quality. Off the bat, I am impressed with how this watch seems to meet perfectly at the crossroads of conspicuous elegance and modern minimalism.
