Citizen Eco-Drive Silhouette Women's Bangle Watch

Although it is a heavier looking watch,it can be used day or night in all occations. A pleasing addition in my old lifestyle.

I bought this watch at another retailer nearly four years ago and saw it listed on Overstock as I was showing a friend other watches from Citizen's EcoDrive line. The only difference is that the face of my watch is a very dark blue, almost black, and that the retailer I bought it from included a 5 year guarantee for about the same price. Well, as I said, I bought it almost four years ago as a gift to myself and to this day it has been one of my smartest purchases. It is such an elegant watch and the Swarovski crystals really do sparkle without being overwhelming. I was initially concerned that one or two may pop out or get dislodged somehow but I am pleased to say that not one has so much as gotten loose. They are a nice touch and now, even after four years of daily usage (the only time I take it off is in the shower), the stainless steel is still as shiny and in the same condition as it was when I bought it. In the last year or so I have managed to get a small scratch (no wider than a hair) on the glass covering the dial but I am notoriously brutal on my watches and before I bought this one I was going through one or two a year, easily. The clasp is very strong and I have never had any problems with it coming unlatched on its own, even after taking it off and putting it back on on a daily basis. It is a bit heavy and for petite women, they may find that they need to have some links taken out, but for women who have hard time finding watches that have large enough bands, this should suit them quite well. Four years on, I'm still getting compliments on it and people are always very interested in knowing more about the EcoDrive technology. I've never had any problems with it keeping time and it doesn't always see sunlight on a daily basis, but it seems to have a good reserve of power for such a little machine. You could just as easily wear this with a pair of jeans or simple skirt as you could out to the theatre or ballet. It will never look out of place and will dress up any outfit and add a sophisticated touch to your overall look, whatever it may be. Would make a great gift as well simply for the longevity of it. I would not hesitate to give it to someone as the quality is unmatched. If you're thinking about buying it, please do and treat yourself. It is a solid little watch that will keep time for you for years to come. After years of taking abuse and everyday wear, this watch still holds up and adorns my wrist even now as I write this review. I am one satisfied customer!

I love this watch. It's exactly what I was looking for. I had to remove 3 links as it was too large which is great if you prefer to wear your watch loosely. Even though it's sold out, I would highly recommend purchasing this beautiful watch if it were available. It's perfect for wearing with suits or jeans. I saw it at Sears for $$$ and at Kay's Jeweler but couldn't see the price. I am quite sure it wasn't cheaper than what I paid for it. I love Overstock.com
