Elegant...
I bought this necklace and the matching earrings and they are absolutely beautiful and elegant. I have purchased several items from the Charming Life collection and I am pleased with everything I bought so far :) For those the Charming Life gold-filled line is priced to high, and for those who do not realize there is a difference between gold-plated and gold-filled: gold plated items only have a very thin layer of gold on the surface of the metal that with time and regular wearing will flake off revealing the metal it was plated on underneath. gold-filled means thin layers of gold sheets are permanently heat-bonded to a core metal, usually brass. By US law, gold-filled items must contain 1/20th of its weight in gold (much much more gold than in gold-plating). With regular proper care, gold-filled items should last a lifetime, and will not peel off like gold-plating can. Therefore, gold-filled items will cost more than gold-plated.

Very Pretty!
These Quartz drops are larger than I anticipated but they are still very pretty. The color of the quartz seems deeper in real life than the ultra transparent look that my computer screen shows. Also the gold chain stands out much more in real life. Overall, it has a more dressy look than I expected but I still like it very much.
