I ordered this as a gift based on the apparent gorgeous luster and energy of the stone. It arrived within 48 hours of ordering using the low-end shipping- very happy with that. I was disappointed to find that the stone is far from what appears on the website- looks like a large plastic ruby. Looks almost exactly like the gaudy plastic gems from my daughter's "Princess" play set. The overall necklace itself is nice (minus the stone), but with the large gaudy/plastic stone, it ruins the whole effect. I would definitely pass on this item.

This was going to be a xmas gift, but decided I did not want to insult the person I was giving it to. The size of the pendant is much larger than I anticipated. The stone looks like a big red clear plastic thing. It was just too ugly so i am returning it. I gave an overall 3 stars for the quick shipping and ease of returning the item.

when i saw the craftsmanship of the pendant, i fell in love with it, but when i wore it, my skin started itching and burning. i guess i'll have to look for another chain for it..

while I intend to keep the necklace, it's made very cheaply. You would expect some weight to the charm but it's pretty light, almost feels like plastic

I got this for my daughter as a gift - she was very pleased with it. It's just the right length and size to wear with a sweater or TShirt - not too dressy for day time wear.

The stone in this is gorgeous! Purchased for my son. If it wasn't so big overall, I'd keep it for myself.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they wanted it for a halloween costume. It feels like you could break it in half. The "chain" feels like cheap plastic. I was expecting something a little more solid.
