In this day of simple uncomplicated technology I'm surprised that Casio made their Edifice line of watches so hard to set and use. We had to go on the Casio site to bring up a pdf file manual so we could all read the instructions without a magnifing glass, no joking the instruction manual is almost microscopic. After spending a few hours of trying to get the settings my husband said he can't be bothered. He wanted an inexpensive watch that he wouldn't be upset about if he got paint on it or it got scratched while going things around the house. We truly liked the looks of the watch and it looked like it would hold up well, but don't buy this watch unless you have the patients of a Saint. We obvioulsy don't and are returning it.

has everything you want and then some in a watch its the best gift at a great price and has all the functions you need and want

I bought this watch for a friend and he absolutely loves the style. It has been working great so far, and I would continue to stay with the Casio brand since it has never let me down.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WATCH VERY NICE STYLE. A LITTLE HARD TO SIZE BUT GOOD VALUE WANTED A WATCH WITH DATE GOT A WHOLE LOT MORE......NOT TO SURE HOW ACURATE THE TEMP READING IS SEEMS TO BE INFLUENCED BY MY TEMP. BUT THATS OK MAKES FOR A GREAT CONVERSATION....LOL

The watch was exactly as described. It arrived quickly and in perfect shape. The only problem is that it does so much that the direction manual (small and unwieldy) was too many pages to handle easily. Not for anyone with a fear of manuals -- the analog is not set by pulling out a stem but by a series of button pushes -- not intuitive. Watch keeps perfect time and looks great. The one negative of the watch that there was no easy method for removing links to shorten the band -- had to take it to a jeweler to have it done.

The watch is descent not as nice as the last Casio watch purchased for my fiance from same.. the other reviews are true in that the digital time is difficult to read unless it's angled to do so - I also figured the face would be a little larger. Overall it is a good watch --- we debated returning it but it wasn't too expensive so we don't see it as a real loss.

I purchased this watch for my Dad for Father's Day....early, yes i know. However, he loved if from the moment he pulled it out of the box. It looks great with a nice shirt and tie for church services and he can even wear it to work. Great deal for this gift.

I love the look and the feel and the size of it - having thinner wrists its a real challenge finding a men's watch that actually fits. Fair warning - you will need the manual to figure out how to program it. PROS - great design, priced right, cool functions, like the alarm function CONS - the analog face competes with the digital face so it's not easy to read - really they should choose one or the other, the light doesn't stay on long enough to read the time in the dark - doesn't even stay on when you hold the button, temperature reading just doesn't work - they should ditch it as a function.

The photo on the website is very misleading. You can not read the digital face unless you hold the watch at a certain angle or use the backlight. Overall it is a good looking watch but as said the digtal portion of the watch is unreadable.

Terrib;e lproduct. Impossible directions. It will sit in a drawer forever.

This is a good product. I got this for my boyfriend and he does like it. I'm not that thrilled with it just because it seems a bit too big for him (I thought it would be adjustable). Furthermore, the face of the watch seems a bit small. All in all, a good buy...my boyfriend says it makes him feel cool, kinda like James Bond...hehehe ;-D

Must have good eyes, Low light in back ground. Shouldn't be a problem in office / home light. just not in direct sunlight. Nice style for men over 40 yrs of age, The face is a little small yet it has nice features not listed in the description. But the thermometer is useless.

This watch is great especially for the price! The thermometer isn't 100% accurate however because your body temp can throw it off a little. However the other features are nice, alarm, timer, stopwatch, date and day display. Its also nice looking!

I have trouble with small digits, I wanted a watch I could read without cheaters Im very disappointed. the night light was very dim and the digits on this watch are one of the smallest i've seen. the watch has various dials but they are useless unless you have better that 20-20 vision , i gave the watch to my son after wearing it less than a week

It's a good, elegant and stylish looking watch for the price. It has a lot of features. You definitely must read the booklet to program the watch. I would recommend my friends who are looking to buy an inexpensive, good looking watch.

I received the watch and just love it. I really like the looks of it and its very confortable. I took 3 links out of the wristband and it feels great.

It's a Casio. Nothing fancy. It's got a lot of features and buttons I probably won't use. I bought it because it was on sale and I thought the face was large. But when I received it the face wasn't as large as I thought. Overall it's a decent watch and will probably last forever but it won't wow anyone in the looks department.
