Caribe Gold 14k over Sterling Silver 18-inch Rope Chain (3 mm)

This item was purchased for a seventeen year old boy who wears it frequently. It is replacing a 14K chain that did not hold up well. I think this one will do the trick

I really like this necklace when I recieved it, but after two weeks the 14k gold over silver started to tarnish on the clip of the necklace. After two and a half weeks the necklace started to tarnish in other spots as well. It did'nt even look sliver up under the gold. I thought for the price that this was a real gold necklace and a good buy, which it wasn't. I returned the item for a replacement and the same thing happened with the second necklace, which leads me to believe that it's not a real gold necklace. I was very disapointed with this product because I like the way it looked but it's not real gold so I'm returning the second necklace and asking for a refund because it's not worth $$$. I would'nt advise anyone to purchase this product!

It is a beautiful and sturdy piece of jewelry. I bought it for my Mother and she just loves it! The price can't be beat!
