The box was as nice as I thought but the key you can see in the picture wasnt in the package.

The wood is completely smooth and seamless with a high shine finish. The interior is just as impressive as the outside, they didn't skimp on the velvet used to line it, it's luxurious and expensive. The hinges are well made and seem durable. I expect my brother to enjoy this piece for many years to come. An excellent buy and it looks way more expensive than it was.
