So my Dad has always wanted a Bulova watch, especially a classic looking one that is an automatic. I was secretly saving up to buy him one from Overstock when he surprised me by buying himself a quartz Bulova for over $300 from a local jeweler. When I showed him this watch on Overstock, he was dismayed because this watch is far superior than the one he paid $300+ for. In the end, I got this and another Bulova watch for my Mom and Dad for their anniversary earlier this month. When he took it out of the box, he was nearly set on just keeping it on display since it was a beautiful timepiece. Reasons why this automatic watch is better than the $300+ quartz Bulova he bought from a jeweler: This Bulova watch has a metal strap that is extremely smooth to the skin as opposed to the $300+ which was smooth but still pinches in places. And the hinge and lock for the strap for the Overstock Bulova watch is designed in such a way that it won't get caught easily on your clothes whereas the $...
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Does not show the true color of the dial face. Dial face more ecru or ivory color than off-white cream. In other words, more classic than bland.
- How accurate was the sizing? Accurate.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very well made. Looks more expensive than the other Bulova watch my Dad paid over $300 for from local jeweler.
