Italian Sterling Silver Engravable Medical ID Tag 8-inch Bracelet

I bought this for my mother, who has to be on coumidan now, due to a blood clot she developed after surgery. The bracelet looked very nice when we received it, and had it engraved. But, she has only had it a couple weeks and it is all scratched up, on the front and back of the engraved plate. Soon, the words are not going to be legible, and we are going to have to get her another bracelet, or emergency officials will not be able to read her medical need. Since she is still recovering from surgery, and not very active, there is no explanation as to why all the scratches, except maybe that the italian silver is too soft and does not wear or hold up good. I was very dissapointed with this bracelet.

I absolutely love my bracelet. I had it engraved and had the medicine that I take put on the back of it for $6.75! It is shiny and bright and very "eye-catching"!!!!

I bought this for my husband who is allergic to Aspirin and Iodine. We work in the medical field, and know how important it is to let your first responders know your allergies. This is a great weight to wear all the time, but yet it's manly enough. My husband is 6 ft 2 in, 225 lb. I would definately recommend this for anyone.

Had a bracelet before, which was quite costly. This appears to be a better quality.

Although this was advertised as Italian sterling silver, it was nevertheless made in China. I think the finish could be better. I am constantly trying to wipe it and buff it up. I am disappointed with it, but the price was ok.
