Sterling Silver Multi Topaz Necklace

I was so excited about this necklace and could hardly wait to receive it as it looks gorgeous on the picture! However, I was quite disappointed when it arrived just 2 days after I had ordered it. It looks flashy... I mean, it's still pretty but it looks like trying too hard to be fancy while being cheap. And it 's too stiff and doesn't lay flat on my collar bone (it would probably look better on someone whose collar bone is not "boney"). I was thinking about returning it but decided to keep it anyway as I do like the coloring of it, hoping that perhaps one day it will work with some outfit or occasion.

This is a gorgeous necklace. Bought as a graduation gift for my niece, matches both topaz and sapphires wonderfully because of its graduated, darkening stones. Does not lie perfectly flat against back of neck , which lost it one star, but that is noticeable only to wearer, not to an observer. Still feels comfortable and secure. Haven't found anything like it for twice the price.

Right out of the box this necklace was spectacular. The topaz goes from white to deep blue. It is much prettier than pictured and larger producing a quick smile. Rated it 4 stars in workmanship because it doesn't quite lay flat on the nape of the neck but no sees that anyway. It sparkles and stands out. It's a keeper.
