I bought this cord to go with a pendant that I purchased for my mother for Christmas. I looked in stores in my area and couldn't find a simple satin cord like this anywhere, so I ordered this one from Overstock with free shipping. It was fairly inexpensive, but good quality for the price. It was a good length for the pendant I placed on it. I had read some reviews of customers who purchased a cord and had trouble actually putting a pendant onto it, but I had no problems fitting the end of the cord through the pendant. This is a nice, generic black cord that could be used in many versatile settings. Good buy.

Black Satin 3mm Rattail Cord Sterling Silver Clasp it's great quality overall... VERY nice size too,can hook any weight pendant to it,and it's sits very nicely on the neckline. Love it,the price was just right overall.

The only thing I didn't like was the sizing was not adjustable and the clasp is VERY tiny

While the soft silk measures 3mm across - the clasp fittings are 4mm . Since those parts are are solid silver - they don't have any give. What I'm trying to say is if you are going to use this for pendants those bales have to be quite large. I also think the lobster claw is almost too small, but it works I bought 2 of these and I'm glad. I'll keep one for me and stash the other for those times you find a great gift pendant and want to give it ready to wear.

I've been looking for a cord for a pendant I was going to give a friend and this one did just the trick. Low Price + good quality = Great deal :)

It is ok and I will probably wear it, but i was expecting a more substantial cord. It is quite thin and seems not very strong. It takes a weightier pendant to straighten it than I would like to have worn with it. I can only recommend it with these reservations.

I think you get what you pay for. It might be suitable for some people but it didn't work out for me- and I'm not all that heavy handed.

Worked well with the piece I used it for. I was expecting it to be longer than it actually was but that could have been my fault I don't know if I paid attention to the details listed.

All in all very good - very much satisfied. I was amazed when I got the item - it was more than I expected. This is definetly something that I could show to my friends and even tell them to get one for them. A good buy for a small amount of money.

i thought about using this as a bracelet but i can only use it as a necklace.. it's very soft & stylish.. i like it .. i can either wear it with my sterling silver charms or just plain.. it addes character to any outfit ..
