This necklace is very nice. I ordered it under the mens gold necklaces section for a graduation gift for my grandson who is an Eagle Scout. For a man, i think the eagle is rather small, but the chain is "manly" enough. I considered keeping it for myself as it is very pretty. I think the eagle itself is nearly 3/4" high from wing tip to grape leaf and about 1/2" wide. I would recommend this as it is very nice, but my thought is it's more of a feminine size. The price was very good considering the price of gold these days.
The reason for the average rating, I love the value of the product but was not happy with the appearance or the workmanship. I could tell that also on the person's face when I gave him the gift.
