Strange looking and hard to use
I have been a Timex user for sports watches for many years, however the last 2 had very short life cycles. So I decided to try a different one and needed one with large digits so I could read them easily while running. Being an avid Asics user for running equipment, I took a chance on their watch. And it does not work as well as their shoes. First it gets a lot of comments for it's looks (and not too many of them are good). Secondly it is difficult to use and especially not use in a hurry. To change modes you have to roll a while on the side of the watch and it doesn't always activate the mode switch. Plus you have to make some of these switches very quickly or you are stuck in a mode you don't want. Then there is the Asics icon button on the face. It gives you a quick switch into Chronograph mode, but it does it even if you just bump something and then you have to go through the mode switch again. Trying to record split times when running is tough as the buttons are recessed and hard to locate. In general it is not user friendly and not one I would order again.
