I thought that buying an engagement ring online would be something just below going into Wal-Mart or Sam's Club to shop. On the contrary: the selection was better, it was easy to navigate, we were able to compare rings side by side without anyone (salesman or clerk) adding commentary or pressure. After comparing 2-3 similar rings we came across this one and we both loved it. Because it was a fairly new Overstock item there was a question we had about the description. Your Customer Service gal made a couple calls and emails to the manufacturer/distributor to clarify and called me back to answer my questions. Although I think the stone is a little big (there wasn't a smaller one available in this exact style) my fiance loves it and couldn't be happier. Suggestion: I wish there was a way to see wedding bands that would exactly match this engagement ring. There are a lot to look at but I'd like to see them side by side.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Exactly
- How accurate was the sizing? She says it's good
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I'm no expert but I like the way it looks
The moissanite stone in this ring is lovely. Nice and white and clear and sparkles with abandon. That being said, the setting left a little to be desired for me. It is a very dainty setting with not a lot of gold weight. It looks to be a much thicker setting in the picture than it is in reality. For people who prefer a rather delicate setting or for those who would only wear it every so often it would be great. For me though, it was just too dainty and probably wouldn't hold up to the everyday wear and tear that I would subject it to. Unfortunately I had to send it back.
