This watch is powered by automatic movement which means the winding of the spring occurs automatically when the wearer moves his/her arm. However, it is recommended that you manually wind the watch at least once every two weeks. It is also important to adjust the time once a month as automatic movement can gain or lose a few minutes per month.

Beautiful watch, second hand a bit difficult to see, but comfortable to wear. I've alredy had compliments!
This is my 2nd Akribos XXIV auto watch. Akribos is a sister company to Shuhrling watches which makes awesome swiss watches. Stuhrling is the serious side, producing classic and vintage style watches and Akribos is the sportier edgy side. This Akribos watch is a real eye catcher. It came with TWO snakeskin bands, one was a saddle tan color and the other one was a grey/pink snakeskin with light pink stitching. You can actually feel the scales on the band. The rose gold plating on the mechanical parts is awesome. The exhibition back is awesome. The Krysterna crystal is so beautiful. This is a very good quality watch and is NOT over priced . I was blown away being able to get this watch at the OVERSTOCK.COM really low price. That is why I bought another one. The only thing I am not crazy about is that with the black hands it is a bit difficult to read the time if you have less than perfect eye sight. But that is what glasses are for. Hence the 4 stars. I really don't care how hard it is to read because it is SO beautiful and I have gotten many compliments on it. Try it, you will Not be disappointed and the price at O is right!
The watch is a great timepiece. I did not know the brand name but took a chance. I love the watch and it is an excellent value. Many compliments on the color and Skeleton styling.
Absolutely love this watch. The band is not as pink as it shows up on the listed picture. It is subtle, and that was a relief to me. The stitching on the strap is light pink, the skin is tinted just slightly pink, but it isn't pretentious. The crystal will chip very easily, so use caution. If you abuse your watches, you might want to think twice about this one. I enjoy the automatic movement/winding of this watch. If you don't wear it for one day, you have to wind it if you want it to keep time when you need it. Not a big deal to me, but it might be a hassle for some. Just a routine to do before going to bed. I think it sure beats getting batteries changed. Presentation was awesome. Looks fantastic if given as a gift! Package comes with a really nice box, warranty, instruction manual, cleaning cloth, and an envelope for mailing for any repairs needed.
