This is my 2nd Akribos XXIV auto watch. Akribos is a sister company to Shuhrling watches which makes awesome swiss watches. Stuhrling is the serious side, producing classic and vintage style watches and Akribos is the sportier edgy side. This Akribos watch is a real eye catcher. It came with TWO snakeskin bands, one was a saddle tan color and the other one was a grey/pink snakeskin with light pink stitching. You can actually feel the scales on the band. The rose gold plating on the mechanical parts is awesome. The exhibition back is awesome. The Krysterna crystal is so beautiful. This is a very good quality watch and is NOT over priced . I was blown away being able to get this watch at the OVERSTOCK.COM really low price. That is why I bought another one. The only thing I am not crazy about is that with the black hands it is a bit difficult to read the time if you have less than perfect eye sight. But that is what glasses are for. Hence the 4 stars. I really don't care how hard it is to read because it is SO beautiful and I have gotten many compliments on it. Try it, you will Not be disappointed and the price at O is right!

I just received my third watch. None of them have kept time. I am horribly disappointed and have never received such a faulty item. I am grateful to Overstock.com for making the returns easy; however, wish I wasn't having to make three returns.

Bought this watch for my wife and she loves it. Perfect size for everyday wear.

This is a great looking watch but that is it. First one arrived but did not work. Second arrived worked but would stop and lose time. The only way the second watch ran consistent was laying face down on a table. I am still waiting for number three to arrive but I am leery that it will run. The craftsmanship is really bad on this line.

I saw someone with this type of watch (not a full skeletal) and I knew I could find one on O.co and I did. I'm very please with this product because there's not a full skeletal watch in the department stores around where I live. Rose gold is becoming more and more popular. There is not one negative thing I have to say about this watch. It looks very expensive, people cannot believe how much I bought this for. The most shocking thing is that the straps are made with REAL SNAKE SKIN. Forget about buying a watch winder, the knob IS the winder, plus it's automatic to begin with. Buy it!!

I've been waiting for an open-face watch for a long time and this one could not have been more perfect (great price too!). First, the color goes with everything (black, earth tones, light/dark outfits, skin tone) and looks very classy. Second, I've had the watch for a little less than a month and have had no problem with the automatic watch if I wear it at least once every two days. If I don't wear it for awhile, no worries because I just jostle the watch until it gets running and reset the time. Third, as a petite girl with small wrists, I think the watch is great for that semi-oversized look and actually is one of the few 'oversized' watches that fits and flatters without being overwhelming. Fourth, the strap is snakeskin but beautfil and adds character. Get this watch!! I get compliments all the time and nothing beats seeing the mechanism inside the watch, the quality of the product, and its sheer beauty.

I just received this watch a couple weeks ago. I get compliments everyday. I love wearing it...so far I have not noticed the time to stop as other reviewers have stated. The rose gold and tan leather strap goes with almost every outfit!

My boyfriend ordered this watch as a present for me, and I was so surprised when I saw it! It's a very beautiful watcht! It is great to wear it every day, and never think about the battery. The style and the color are special. Honestly I wish the case have a bit greater diameter, but even this size seems ok and the band although a bit shorter, fits ok to my hand. I wear it for a week and I see it does not loose or gain any minute in time;-) Many thanks to my dear,and thank you Overstock!

Gorgeous case - very impressive for the price - note that woman's strap is very short - if you normally wear an 8" bracelet or bangle you will need to get a larger band so far keeps time very well received shipment within 3 days regular shipping

Beautiful watch! Does not lose time or gain time. After the first few days, the amount of arm-swinging you do in a regular day is more than enough to keep the watch fully wound. Fast shipping, too!

I like the watch. It's very pretty, but its diameter is smaller than I would have liked. Also the watch casing is very think. I would have preferred something bigger and thinner. I think it would have been much more striking. I do wear it because it's attractive and I like the rose gold color, but I did think about sending it back.

I bought the watch for my watch-crazy mother. She loves it. And, she gets lots of admiring comments on it. Also, the presentation case in which it comes is impressive. Great buy at a wonderful price.

I bought this watch for my girlfriend for Christmas and when it arrived it was well worth the money. I am an avid watch collector and this is a top quality time piece. It is fairly substantial and has excellent details such as scroll work on the rotor and all throughout the exhibition back and front. She tells me she receives compliments daily on it. She is a dainty woman at 5'4 100 pounds and she still feels very comfortable wearing this watch as it is not overly large. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a skeletonized style watch. i got this for my mother as a gift (she picked it out), and it looks exactly like the picture. the free watch winder with purchase was a deal as well!

... size-wise, it's really a man's watch - I was disappointed that the face wasn't smaller when I opened the box. I looked at other women's watches by the same manufacturer on this site and read their reviews, and others have made the same comment. So be aware, if you buy a women's watch by this manufacturer, it will look and feel on your wrist like a man's watch. I have a very small wrist, so this makes a difference to me, but it might not to anyone else.Other than that ...... it has a very striking face and the band is lovely and expensive looking. I didn't have any problems reading the face and it keeps time fine for me so far, but I've only had it a day. Another reviewer said that they got two bands in the box - this wasn't the case for me. It's got a nice look for everyday - it looks less dressy in person than it does in the picture. I like the color of the band and the workings - another reviewer said it wasn't as pink in real life as it was in the picture, and they were right. It comes in a nice, large box for storing when you're not wearing it. Overall, I thought it was a good deal and a good price for the watch. If you go on their website, similar watches are twice as much.

Beautiful watch, second hand a bit difficult to see, but comfortable to wear. I've alredy had compliments!
