A screw-down crown (knob) creates a water-resistant seal. To unscrew the crown, turn counter-clockwise and pull/push into position to set time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case and turn clockwise.

Would Buy Again
I've purchased 2 other ceramic watches before and paid a small fortune for each. I was concerned that this would be a real let down because of the price but figured I'd give it a try anyway. I LOVE IT! it is a larger face than most women's watches but that's the look I like. It's high quality and I got compliments on it the very first day I wore it.

Great Value, Good Watch
I really like the watch. The image was a good representation of the product. I took it to the mall to have it resized (band); I did not have the tools for the screws in the band. The only incorrect information was that this is NOT a screw down crown. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the purchase.

Too Beautiful
I have always wanted a ceramic watch and what better one to get then a Akribos! This watch retails in my area for close to $1,000 so when I saw overstock had it for $$$ I could not resist. I have bought other watches from overstock that cost a lot more so I was not concerned with quality. This watch is a must have for any watch enthusiast.
