The only reason I am returning this watch is because the face is a little busy and it sparkles so much I cannot see the time let alone the other 2 dials...at least not without my glasses. I think it would have been easier with a darker background. It feels very sturdy and of good quality, if I could read it I would keep it.

I have been looking for a new watch for several years and am very picky about what I wanted. I wanted a quality made watch, that had a larger than normal face, but was not excessively decorated. There were several choices, but after reading the other reviews I decided to go with this one. I also wanted one that had Swiss movement, which this does. I am looking forward to wearing it for many years. I also bought the 4 year platinum protection plan.

Excellent quality for the price of the watch. One thing....the instructions that were included with the watch incorrectly stated how how to calibrate the day of the week with the date of the month. A totally different method for this particular watch is utilized and that was figured out by us.

I love this watch! I was thrilled when I opened the box...it's just as beautiful as the image. It is a larger watch but it looks great....even on my small wrist. In some lighting, it can be difficult to see the time when looking straight on but all it takes is moving my wrist a little...no big deal for me. I give it 5 stars!

This watch was so impossible to set the date and day that I thought it was broken and had another one sent to me. The second one I took to a watch repair shop where the owner showed me how to set it - not easy, very time consuming and he claims it's a cheap watch (not worth the $$$ it says on the tag). I also thought the watch was too big and heavy. I normally love big watches. I used to wear my husband's watches long before big watches were in style for women, but this was even too big for me. I would not recommend this watch to anyone.

My husband bought me this for Christmas. I love this watch! I wanted something that looked blingy, but not over the top. This fit the bill, perfectly. The diamonds on the bezel are small, but they look good. The mother of pearl face is very sharp. I like that I can wear it with gold or platinum, and it looks good with both. Very pleased with this purchase!

The watch is very nice. It is a little heavier than expected but it is a bigger display. I was disappointed at the lack of instructions with the watch. There was nothing to tell you how to set the day and date dials. I have tried to contact Akribos but did not get a reply either.
