Beautiful

I thought the watch was just as beautiful as the picture. It was a little bigger than I thought, but that was it . The price is great too.

Faded Love

This is a most beautiful product. Upon arrival I began wearing watch and received many compliments. However, noticed it was loosing vast amounts of time from day one. Discovered the second hand sticks at 45 seconds. Have attempted to contact manufacturer about issue, would love to keep watch. Going on week three and still nothing from the manufacturer. Moral, once again, you get what you pay for.

ITS A WOW

traveller99 from Texas, Aug 5, 2009

This is my second Akribos watch and I am fascinated by the skeleton movements in both. This one is especially nicely finished with engraving on the winding pendulum and just that extra look of craftsmanship. So far it keeps perfect time and just looks great. Not really an everyday watch but for special nights out a really nice watch. My only "wish it had a" would be a jeweled movement. Looking at it I think it has a jeweled flywheel and balance but that is all I see. So maybe a 2 jewel but it is not marked so I assume it is mostly not jeweled. That will possibly make this watch a bit less durable so I gave it 4 stars for that. But I would buy this watch again and really do like Akribos for the fine skeleten watches they put out. I will probably look for another in the future as they are Works of Art more than watches.

WOW

1vinsmart from PA, Mar 30, 2009

I bought this for my husband for our anniversary and it is a beautiful piece. It is heavy and seems to have excellent craftsmanship. It says it is gold-toned stainless, so it is not gold plated but it does look real. I keep catching my husband looking at it. He said he would only wear it to church and on special occasions but has not taken it off in a week! I am pleased with this watch! The only other thing is the wrist band is for an average wrist. If you have big bones or a thick wrist, be prepared to replace the band. It fits my husband perfect though who is 6' and 200 lbs.
