Disappointment
This is a nice watch, but for someone who is a watch fan this not a good buy. The watch is not like most mechanicals. If your not constantly shaking your wrist it will not keep ticking it doesn't work with your normal motion. Do not purchase u will be disappointed

Looks good, works less than good
The watch looks great, with the exception that what I thought were stationary blue "screws" are neither screws, nor stationary. The placement of the "screws" on my watch is different than that in the photo, and while they don't interfere with my ability to read the watch, some are off-center and not completely covering the holes they'd potentially "screw" into. Regardless, the watch looks nice. As far as its function, however, its been less than stellar. It worked fine for the first week, but now it will stop working randomly, despite having a wound spring. Sometimes tapping it brings it back, other times it needs more force to get the gears working again. At any rate, I plan on returning the watch.

Bl;ue-Screw See-Thru
This mechanical wind-up watch looks and feels good on the wrist. So far it's running smooth and accurate. The blue screws in the seletonized movement are a nice touch. The movement looks as good from the back as it doe3s from the front without the automatic rotor.

Loving this watch
I've bought the Akribos XXIV mechanical skeleton watch for my future husband as a wedding present and I know he's going to love it. The face is totally see through so you can see and really appreciate all the movements of the watch. At this point I do not know if it keeps good time as it's not in use but this watch is bound to get lots of positive comment when my husband starts wearing it. The watch comes in a lovely presentation box that oozes quality. I struggled to get this in the UK at a decent price but was able to order through OVERSTOCK.COM working out Ģ60 cheaper than Amazon.co.uk despite having to pay taxes and international shipping, I must also mention that it arrived within 3 days of ordering - FANTASTIC!!!
