CONS: Note that this is a large case - the description reads "43mm" but I measure it as 44mm edge to edge. The movement itself is actually quite small, so the viewing window on the back is only 24mm across; also, the watch is thick and of heavy weight (90g including strap). The band is a leather strap with a tang buckle, discretely stamped "Akribos XXIV". I have very small wrists for a 6' tall man, so someone more burly might need a strap replacement (it's a standard 22mm strap and could be easily replaced).Nothing on the face or hands glows or luminesces in any way.PROS: My personal opinion is that this a very fine looking watch (and is my current favorite), and I like the solid heft of it and the oversize face. The counterweight for the automatic movement is very light - not normally noticeable. Fully wound, it remains working for over 24 hrs; mine loses about 1min / day - not great, but acceptable. While this watch won't "fool" your watch snob friends, it does a passable job of looking like a fine watch costing 10x-100x more (cf IWC Portuguese). Overall, a nice watch at even several times the current price.
