I ordered this watch expecting to be impressed based on the quality expressed in the ad and the pictures. The box it comes met the expectation, it is presented very nicely! Unfortunately the case looks like metalicized plastic. The grey finish just fails to impress. I would have traded a cheaper box for a nicer finish on the case... I knew it was grey, but for some reason it just doesn't look like a quality case in person. The band has a super shiny finish that is reminiscent of those awful snake skin boots. The face and internal components are quite nice though. Two function issues for me- I had a hard time getting it to keep accurate time. I wore it for an entire day around the office and when I looked at it late in the day, it had stopped running. Automatic watches should not need their wearer to be running constantly to keep it "charged" Oddly, after I shook it to get it going again and took it off, it ran for the next 20 hours or so on my table just fine... I may return it if it doesn't work better in the near future. I also may need to invest in a watch winder since it (and all automatic watches) become a hassle when not worn daily. Also, though I should have noticed this when placing the order, for all the dials and fancy dual date internals, it doesn't offer a date dial... weird. Over all, it's ok. If I'd spent "retail msrp" I'd be more critical, but I guess this is a great example of "you get what you pay for". If you want a top quality time piece, look elsewhere.Read More
Questions & Answers
The "open heart" refers to the view of the automatic dual time movement that powers this rich, elegant and amazing watch. Thank you.
Why does the 4th picture appear to have a silver bezel with 3 knobs? It also appears to have 2 timepieces with only 1 knob for adjustment ~ How do you set the time for each -- or are they both set for the same time?
I apologize for the error. The correct picture will be updated shortly. Thank you.
