18k Gold over Sterling Silver Heart Earrings

I'm allergic to no-precious metal so the 18k gold over silver caught my attention. I also have a tendency to lose one earring in a set, so these were an absolute bargain. Unfortunately, when they arrive I had dificulty fitting them through my lobes, which are fleshier than most (2mm) 'average' women. Realize, I am 5'5" and am not overweight. The earring clasps pinched my ears while trying to secure them. They ARE pretty but I still had a reaction to the metal after only four hours of wearing. I ended up giving them to my co-worker's six year old grand-daughter. If you have THIN or undefined earlobes, these should work for you. They didn't for me.

Once again another A-1 purchase from Overstock. The earrings were just as nice as described. I can wear them to work or a night out. Looking at them you would think that I paid much more than I did. They are also a very comfortable fit. My sister liked them so much she wanted to buy them for me and just have me order myself another pair. Thanks again Overstock for putting a smile on my face.

I purchased these earrings because the earring look so good in the online picture, it arrived in a velvet drawstring bag with a gold lettering O on the front of the pouch, each earring was separately sealed in a mini zip bag. The gold plating is uneven and bulging, not smooth at all, so these earrings looks like what it cost $**bucks, one of the earrings latch (earring clasp) was weak and is loose after opening and closing it only twice. I say skip this purchase, there's a big gamble on buying a pair that looks good. The pair I received was flawed, the time it takes for items to be returned to overstock is at least 1 full week (7 days), then at least 3 days for a refund: that's ten days altogether, not to mention you have to contact overstock to ensure that it's a return, refund, or replacement: the conversation can be confusing and more days waiting is not what any consumer wants: Skip This Jewelry, its not worth the return.......

They shine beautifully and the size is perfect (1inch).
