These did not have much sparkle at all. They really seem like something that you could get at a dollar store. Not very special. The stones are kind of dull. If I had seen them in person first I would not have bought them. But, if I had been given them as a gift I would have been happy. Eh.
This is WHITE gold. I usually wear yellow so these make a really nice statement when I need to switch. Large enough to really be seen and the stones are a nice color. I really like the pair for the money, they look more expense. There is some stiffness to the design or I would have given them a 5.
OK, better than expected. Pictures cannot show you the wonderfull sparkle of the stone. Light green... almost clear. (These are white gold plate--the description just sez "gold", so rest assured, they look 'silver' in picture, because it is white gold). These are simple, classy, timeless settings. Great for casual or evening dressy. (I purchase these to go with some green sapphires, and even though they are lighter than the green-sapphires... a pretty good match). I checked other green-amethyst items, and these earrings are a good value it seems... many of the other green-amethyst are quite pricey.
