Beautiful earrings, have gotten plenty of compliments from people. They go with any thing so can be worn daily. I m glad I bought these.

These are cute little earrings if you prefer smaller hoops just under 1 inch (which I do), The small faux opals have nice "fire" but the earring backs are a tad thick. Happy with purchase overall.

These are pretty little earrings, not too big, not too little; comfortable to wear. Look carefully at the picture, there is only one small diamond point in the center of each earring. The rest of the opal stones are separated by raised dots of silver only. The diamonds are not of a high quality; what do you expect at this price point, but they are decent and from a casual distance look quite nice. I bought them for the 'look' of opals and something nice but casual for jeans. I am satisfied with them, but only time will tell how well they will hold up.

I liked these earrings so much I bought a second, spare pair. Time will tell how the gold wears, but they look every bit as rich as solid gold and the opals and "diamonds" look great too.

I received my earrings today and I can't tell you how pleased I am with them. The are the perfect size and very expensive looking. They can be worn for any occasion. I'm going to order my daughter a pair for her birthday. I think she will love them as much as I do.

These earrings are a fantastic buy! The stones have all the depth of color & color-changing properties of the kind of REAL opals you would have to search high & low to find. I have a couple of opal rings that are the genuine article, but had to shop in Antiques and Estate jewelry to find anything better than those milky white stones that pass for opals these days. Maybe these look so real because the stones are small marquises ... a 3 carat stone of this same material may very well look completely synthetic. I am a brand-new shopper of sterling jewelry plated with 14k/18k gold. I've always been kind of single-minded about the jewelry I wear. One metal at a time: I never mix. As a teenager, it was all sterling w/ gemstones. Lots of shopping in Provincetown every Summer. Then, in my 20s, I did a lot of damage to my credit cards buying only jewelry crafted of 14K yellow gold. Then, there was a sterling silver period again, which morphed into white gold, then rose gold, and finally back to yellow gold. Gemstones, however, have always been the constant. Overstock.com has seen me through all of those phases since the 2nd go-round of silver. I never once considered plated jewelry ... it seemed so cheap and temporary -- not worthy of a spot in my collection. The new improved processes for plating sterling with gold have won me over, though! These earring look, for all the world, like pure 18k gold. They are truly beautiful and look great on. .

I only wear the lever back earrings or the ones that snap into a clasp. The other attachments either fall out or don't let my ear breathe and bacteria starts to form which is never a good thing. I liked these earrings so much I just bought a bracelet to go with them.Thanks overstock for giving us quality merchandise.

Earrings came on the same day as the matching bracelet. Opals are very lovely. Diamond accent on one earring is poorly placed and show a rough looking silver. I do not have time to exchange for another set so have decided to keep them hoping no one gets to close to examine. Bracelet is so beautiful.

When it comes to opals, I am an addict! I have worn opal earrings day in and day out for most of my life. I lost one of the last pair and looking on the internet I found these. Truly, I couldn't have made a better choice. I never take them out. Every where I go, I get compliments! Makes my day!!!

The earrings are very pretty, but the Gold over silver will dull over time. I would have preferred solid gold, but it was not offered in this style. Overall, however, it was a very good value.

These earrings are very pretty and the opals are very real looking, the settings are very secure and I love the way the light bounces off the stones.

I have opal studs in an oval shape with diamonds. I had never found anything that looked good with them. These hoops look like they were made as a set with the studs. I am very happy with them.

I couldn't wait for my earrings to arrive as I wanted to wear them for my granddaughter's wedding in New Orleans next month. I have a lovely real opal necklace my husband gave me when we were married but never had matching earrings. Since my gown is teal the combination will be perfect as I also have true opal bracelets to go with it all. One would never guess that these are synthetic opals; they match my real ones perfectly. You can't go wrong orderding these; they are extremely lovely. If you like larger hoops these are not for you. As it is, they size is perfect for me and I am extremely happy with everything about them.
