While this is a very pretty anklet 9" is too short to fit comfortably on even a small ankle. Paying more for an extender makes the whole thing less of a value. I'll be returning mine.

Bought this for my granddaughter's birthday. She likes it very much, but like another reviewer, i have to extend it. Anklets should fit comfortably and not too tight. The anklet is a little too small. Consider the size when buying this anklet. It's very pretty, good quality, but a little too small for the average ankle in my opinion. Hope this review helps.

This was very pretty. Just like the picture...but didn't fit the recipient and needed to be extended. There was no length given in the description. Once extension was added for additional 30.00, she loved it. Not recommended for thicker ankles.
