I realize it was an inexpensive piece but I did expect that it would look good for more than 2 weeks.... nice shiny gold color it came with is completely worn off and the metal underneath even has an odor.... making the piece unwearable.... I have always been pleased with most products from Overstock... but this item was a huge disappointment..... can't send it back as I threw away the packing and receipt...

This chain is a great bargain. It may be overlay but it is very authentic. The weight is very good too. It doesn't look or feel cheap. Puchased for my boyfriend and he LOVES it!!

Just got this in the mail today 4 days after ordering. Wore it to work and received some very nice compliments. It has a good weight and the construction seems quite solid. I'm very pleased I purchased this item and would recommend it for those of you who want a gold chain but don't want to spend $100s.

The chain looked very nice and the size was great but it seems to have turned the skin green and therefore I would not recommend it as the quality really isn't there.

My son wanted a chain and this one was a good choice for the money.

This item was purchased for a gift for an extra special person. The quality and finsh is very pleasing to the eye and one can sense the excellant standard of this item. This necklace is a cheap looking gold plated necklace. It is not suitable for wearing with a pendant because it is too wide. Nor is it suitable for wearing with fashion because it looks like it is plated. It is what is called a "Bling" necklace. It is listed as "Overlay" that apparently means "plated" and i won't order anything that Overstock lists as Overlay ever again.

I am a huge overstock buyer/fan but this tarnished after the description said it wouldn't. I gave this as a gift to my husband and it upset us both.

I bought this chain for my boyfriend for Christmas. It started turning after only a week or so, and then turned his neck green.

I purchased a 14k Yellow Gold Overlay 24-inch Figaro Chain 8mm for my husband for Christmas. He loved it when he opened it. He wore it for two days and he broke out with a terrible raised rash around his neck. He keeps trying to wear and the same rash appears. So, it just hangs on his dresser and he is not able to wear it. I was very disappointed and so is he.

When I first got this for my husband I was very excited when I saw it & he really liked it but after 4 days of him wearing it started turning & I tried to clean it but still did not get any good results so I am returning it.

Came to me very quick and when I opened it the chain shinned so nicely. I got it for a gift to a best friend. I was very happy with my order.

This necklace is ok for the money. I gave mine to my wife although I bought it for myself because the links are much larger than I had imagined. It's perfect for a real big guy or a rapper I guess. The piece is shiney tho and looks pretty good. My bad...
