Okay, I'm not a child, but, the earrings are made of an almost painfully thin, cutting metal. They are very cute however and go with practically anything on an everyday basis.

These earrings were purchased for my 7 year old niece. They are so sweet and cute and worth the price. They are the perfect size for a child. They are very petite, so if you are buying for an older child, I would think twice. Other than that, great purchase!
