If you are expecting a plump little pearl that looks like the picture then these are not for you. Mine are flat mis-shapen little things that bear no resemblence to the picture on line. The color and lustre are nice - but that is about as far as it goes. Also - mine have a little gold ball threaded on to the wire laying on top of each pearl - which I did not notice in the on line picture either. Closer examination with a loupe showed those to be very poorly constructed. Cheap.

I bought these hoping they would be a Christmas present for my mother, and as always Overstock does a fantastic job of shipping quickly. Unfortunately I was not satisfied with the quality of the earrings and didn't feel my mother would be either. The gold is thin and the pearls just don't look well attached to the hoop. These earrings might make a nice gift for a young girl or someone who likes light and super casual jewelry, but unfortunately I wanted something a little more formal and well-made for my mom.
