these earrings are really pretty and simple. They are quite light and seem fragile, but other than that, they suit my purposes for an everyday earring.

These earrings really are lovely and offer an alternative to the standard polished gold ball studs you see everywhere. They sparkle when the light hits them, but it's a modest amount of sparkle. They do not look like they've been pasted with glitter as another reviewer said. They are classy and catch your eye in the best way. I bought them for my mother, who is sophisticated and stylish, but I think these would suit women of any age. They have a modern aesthetic to them that is much more apparent in person. I don't usually like yellow gold myself, but I'm definitely tempted to get a pair for myself. They are the perfect size for studs and are lightweight. The backs are tiny, but that's an easy fix if it bothers you. I can't speak to durability yet, but for now I'm most pleased with my gift purchase. If you are on the fence, definitely get these. They're beautiful and unique.

I was looking for a simple pair of gold earrings to wear with just about everything. When I saw these, they were different...not the same old gold studs we've seen for years. The texture makes them less shiny and more sophisticated. I received them about a week ago and have worn them several times. They're light weight, comfortable, and nice quality. I would highly recommend.

I ordered the earings as a gift for a friend. They are very pretty and the type of earrings you can wear all day. I just wish they came with the 14k gold tag in the box since they being given as a gift.

These earrings are light, comfortable and good looking. I have a no-fuss life, but wanted something that looked like I had loads of time to spend on accessory choices. These earrings are a good size for daytime; I've worn them with both casual and business tailored looks. And I can sleep in them. I am quite happy with this purchase.

They aren't as shiny as smooth ball earrings, but they aren't supposed to be. They are a nice weight and are very sturdy; I've had them for about a year now and wear them regularly. "Sometimes you feel like a hoop and sometimes you don't..." Nicely made, they sort of sparkle.

These are so nice for dress up or casual look! I am reordering becasue I am sooooo clumsy with earrings and I lost one. Have to replace these because they look very classy with evening attire.

I gave these earings as a gift. They're pretty but arrived in a box w/ extra place settings. It looked I purchased only 1 out of 3 possible sets of earrings. Not the right box for gifting. I can't speak for the quality. .

I was looking for a small, light earring that would not overwhelm my ear but that would still be classy. These are petite and not heavy at all. Very easy to wear and versatile-- wearable for everyday or for an event.

These are absolutely nice! I loved them from the minute I took them out of the box. They are very light though because they are hallow inside. This could be a good thing or not depending on what you are looking for. They are very light on the earlobe and it doesn't pull them down. If you are looking for a more solid gold feel then these are not for you. Aesthetically they look great. They are not too big or too small. Just the perfect size. They are nice enough that you can wear them in the evening with a nice dress but can also be worn for daytime casual wear.

Earrings are shown in the photos (as of Mar 2010). Great size for everyday wear. Great price too. Only downside is that earrings sparkle less than expected. Especially in indirect sunlight. They do, however, sparkle a lot in direct sunlight, or under halogen lights. I had chosen these over the regular/plain 14k Yellow Gold 8 mm Ball Earrings. Now wondering if I should have ordered those instead... lol

I would call myself a "taste snob" and I think these are AMAZING! This pair of studs is my staple pair of earrings. I've now purchased two pair because I lost one ball and missed wearing them so much (and they were backordered b/c they were so popular, so I had to wait). I get compliments on these all of the time and a friend of mine just bought a pair for herself because she liked them so much. And these don't look old lady at all (I don't why another reviewer said that).

I was excited to order these earrings after reading the reviews. However, when I opened them and took them out of the box, I was less than thrilled. They are a little old fashioned looking in person. It looks like they took a gold ball earring and then put glue and gold sprinkles on them. They might look good for an older woman getting dressed up with other gold accent peices but not for everyday wear. They will be going back. There is nothing wrong with the quality, nothing falls off of them or anything, they are well made but not to my taste.

The laser cutting makes these really sparkly, almost like there is glitter on them (but of course there isn't). They are slightly lighter/less sturdy than I was expecting. For the money they're a good deal and they do look nice; just like the picture.

Bought these for my mother-in-law for Christmas and am VERY pleased with the size and the way they sparkle, but not too much sparkle. They can be worn for casual or dressy. A multi-purpose earing for all occasions.
