Gold is very expensive today and the chains I've been seeing are very light in weight--not like they USED to be! It's pretty but not heavy enough for certain pieces [charms] so i returned it.

i purchased this yellow gold foxtail necklace to wear with a small-sized pendant. It looks great and is a good buy for the price.

The chain is a little thiner than I expected, but the weight is not bad and it seems strong. I have worn it everyday since I received it with a diamond pendant. It is holding up quite well and does not kink. For the money, it appears to be a pretty good purchase.

The wife was okay with the gift but I think there was something about the color she did not like.

I was excited to receive the gold chain to use with a ruby pendant. When it arrived I noticed the color of the gold was more of an orange-gold color and did not match my more yellow-gold pendant. Also, It seems thinner than the 1 mm. It is a nice chain and very silky, but a very fine chain compared to the picture. So I returned it and I'm looking for a different chain.

I was nervous purchasing this chain based on a picture; however, when it arrived, this necklace was a pleasant surprise! The picture does NOT do this necklace justice; it is so much prettier! This necklace has nice shimmer, silky-smooth texture, and flexibility. It is the perfect width and length for wearing pendants. I would have rated it five stars, but I think it could have been improved if it had a lobster clasp instead of the very small spring ring clasp. The box it came in was a red cardboard Overstock box, which would have been fine for gift giving if the box hadn't been slightly crushed in shipping. Luckily, this necklace is for me, and I am not worried about the box. If you are looking for a reasonably priced 14k yellow gold chain for wearing pendants, do not hesitate to purchase this silk foxtail necklace!

As always I was very pleased with fine quality of the jewelry ordered. This chain is beautiful and quality is great. This is the 3rd time I've purchased jewelry from Overstock, my engagement ring being the first item and I am sooooo happy with that, now this chain, I,m anxiously awaiting my 3rd item.
