I know online jewelry purchases are a pig-in-a-poke issue, but everything I have found from Overstock has been magnificant. I shopped local jewelers for several months before selecting these earrings. I found them to be an outstanding value, and would highly recommend them, without reservation. Although I have not had them professionally appraised, from my comparisons with local products, these are superior for a fraction of the cost. The stones are secure, and they did not skimp on the gold. You can't lose.

I took a chance on buying these earrings based on the positive reviews that I'd read. These earrings are beautiful, everything I'd hoped they'd be and I wear them all the time.

Not at all as pictured
Received these earrings and they were nothing like the picture, nothing. They are tiny, dull stones, unattractive.I returned them same day I got them only to get a 15 day run-around with my account not credited - had to file with Paypal to get my account credited.Be VERY careful about buying jewelry from overstock - you will have a hard time returning item and getting your account credited. I certainly will never do it again.

pretty to wear but painful to remove
I love these earrings, except for one thing: they are really hard to unclasp. Sometimes it takes me several minutes of tugging to open the clasp, making my ear sore in the process. As a result, I don't wear them nearly as often as I otherwise would.

good buy
I was about to buy a pair of similar earrings from a local jeweler when I found these. The earrings at the store were 1 ctw priced at $1200.00, so you can imagine how happy I was to find these 1 1/2 ctw for less. I haven't gotten them appraised yet, although I do get complimented on how nice they are.
