It's a very nice pendant. The chain was so cheap and tangled that I just use a different one that I already had.

Don't be fooled by the picture, this necklace is tiny! The gem is embarrassingly small, and the chain is so thin I was too scared to get it out the package because i thought it would break. The chain was also very tangled when i received it, very bad. I was going to give this as a christmas present to somebody, thank god i took a look at it before wrapping it up. I sent it back right away. I wouldn't recommend this anyone.

I ordered this for my best friend's 40th birthday. When I got it I was surprised to see that it wasn't as big as I'd thought and the chain was quite thin. It IS however a beautiful stone and felt good giving it to my friend since she LOVES sapphires. I'm sure if she wears it often she could get another chain for it, but since the stone isn't so big and not heavy the chain should be fine.

Overall, I am pleased with this necklace. I have a beautiful sapphire engagement ring that I've wanted to pair with a necklace for some time now. My husband found an incredible sapphire for my ring - so it's difficult to match the blue. This necklace has a nice color to it and will blend well with my ring. My only concern is the setting isn't completely symmetrical. The right side of the "V" curves out more than the left, and may even be a bit longer. This may just be an issue with the pendant that I received, and my husband says that it is what you'd find with a custom piece. He says that he doesn't notice it when I'm wearing it, although he does see what I'm talking about when he looks closely. I'm a perfectionist, so I notice just about everything. This shouldn't be a big deal and, like my husband says, you don't typically notice it when it's on.
