I've had a pair of sapphire studs in yellow gold for years and had been wishing for the same thing in white gold. These earrings fit the bill. If I could change anything about them, I'd have them be a bit lighter in color. The blue is very dark-- decidedly darker than the picture. But the price was right, and they are still very pretty. They're just the right size for the second hole.

I would recommend this for someone looking for a pretty stone for an upper hole. The size is too small, in my estimate, as a single post. I bought this for my daughter who has 3 piercings in each ear, and it's perfect for the upper ear. The stone is a beautiful sapphire!

THESE EARRINGS WERE JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR - BLUE SAPPHIRE IS THE BIRTHSTONE FOR BOTH OF MY SONS; SO THAT IS WHY I WAS SHOPPING FOR THEM. THE PRICE WAS UNBEATABLE; AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY AND LOOK OF THESE EARRINGS. THANKS OVERSTOCK!!!!
