I have wanted a diamond tennis bracelet for some time, and did some shopping around before I purchased this one. I'm very happy with this bracelet, for a number of reasons.
First, this is a very high quality piece of jewelry. It's well-made and looks and feels beautiful. It's sparkly, as diamond jewelry should be. The links are sturdy and it doesn't catch or bend on my skin or clothes. It's very slinky and looks good with either formal wear or casual clothes.
I chose this style because there is a minimum of metal showing between the stones. Many diamond tennis bracelets have either X or S shaped links between the stones. This bracelet has simple, lowkey prongs in each setting. However, if you turn the bracelet on it's side, you can see the tightness of the worksmanship linking all the stones together. When looked at from the side, you can see that the metal links are not shallow, and that the diamonds are set fairly deep in the prongs, which makes me think there's less chance of any of the stones coming loose over time.
I have an average size wrist and this bracelet slides down a little past the end of my arm, onto the heel of my hand. I like that it fits loosely and that it shows beneath the cuffs of long-sleeved shirts, however, it may be too big for someone with a tiny wrist.
The clasp seems very secure. It has a two-part clasp, one slider (male to female type), plus a clip that goes around the back of the bracelet and clips onto the side. When I first received the bracelet, the clip was closed and having never seen that style before I was a little confused about how to open it. I accidently forced it open and was afraid that I damaged it, but it has since clasped securely. It would be a good idea to include a note about how to open the clasp, for people like me who have never seen this style of closure before.
This is my second purchase of diamond jewelry from Overstock - the first was a 3/4 carat infinity ring, which incidentally goes great with this bracelet. I wear the bracelet on my right wrist and the ring on my right ring finger. What I like about Overstock's diamond jewelry is the great selection they offer, not only of many styles, but also of every possible carat increment. Almost all their diamond jewelry, at least the ones I've shopped, are offered in small carat sizes (1/10), then by quarter carat increments, i.e., 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, up to 1 and 2 full carat sizes, along with full descriptions of the other two C's (cut and clarity), and all are priced accordingly. I feel as though I can really compare apples to apples with this many choices and it's something I have not found at other jewelry sites.
If you are looking for a moderately priced piece of nice diamond jewelry, this is a great piece and one that will be in my daily wardrobe for years to come.
