I spent days and days shopping online everywhere for a cross necklace, pretty much everywhere that would sell jewelry, and this was the most unique, beautiful cross necklace I could find, of good quality and appearance. (I am such a picky shopper, especially for jewelry... just to introduce myself. I usually return half the stuff I buy online.) I had lost my previous one which looked similar to this, and this one looks very similar in that it is ribbon-like, but this one is so much brighter. When you buy diamond/gold cross necklaces online, you have to beware that the picture is almost nothing like the real product in the shine it holds. My last cross was very dull-looking because of the poor quality of the diamonds. (Of course it was also about a third of what this one cost me.) This one had high clarity and a clear color for the diamonds. The diamonds look very good, and the entire cross pendant itself is sturdy enough that I think it will last a lifetime-- yet delicate because of the great design. I'm really happy with it.The only cons I would say is that the price was a little much for me again... I wanted to pay $200 max, but I have to say, after buying 2 crosses that were around $150 online, I returned both of them. They were just far too small (and small jewelry annoys me) and dull-looking, not nearly as shiny as the pictures showed online. This cross necklace is far more worth the price for a piece of jewelry I will wear every day for the rest of my life, or as long as it lasts. I do think this will last a lifetime though, so very well could be the rest of my life!It is a tad bigger than I wanted, but I expected that from looking at the dimensions online. I think about 1-inch long pendants are the most perfect size, but this one goes a little over an inch. Make sure to get out a ruler and figure this out yourself so you can imagine it before you buy. But in the end I decided it was only the tiniest bit bigger than I would ideally want, and I got used to it anyway. It is still the best cross I could find online, in terms of quality and appearance. But I must also echo others in saying, please buy yourself another thicker chain! I don't know what is up with all these necklaces online, but I knew beforehand from buying jewelry that they always give you an ugly, very weak thread thin chain. This chain was tangled up as well when I got it, and I had to break the chain in order to get the pendant off. The chain was very flimsy and easy to snap.. imagine a strand of hair basically. I bought a beautiful sparkling chain on Overstock to hold up this pendant-- an 18
