Stunning Ring, but workmanship not so great

I love this ring! It is absolutely gorgeous and I get many compliments on it. HOWEVER, after wearing it for 6 weeks I looked down one day to see that the topaz had fallen out of the ring. I sent it back and got a new one and the same thing happened to the new ring after 2 months. I looked down to see the center stone gone! I am very careful with my jewelry and took extra care after the original episode. I decided to try one more time, since I really love the ring, but when I receive the replacement I am going to take it to a jeweler to make sure it is secure.

I purchased this ring for my nineteen year old granddaughter. We had shopped several local stores and found nohing that compared to the style and value of this ring. It is just a perfect size for her long, slender fingers. She loves the unusual cut of the topaz stone and the diamonds really set it off.

I requested this for Christmas from my husband. He was very hesitant about ordering it without seeing it, and I assumed I would not be getting the ring. We looked in different jewelry stores but was unable to find a ring that came close to this one. I was very surprised Christmas morning when I opened the big box and found this ring. This ring is even more gorgeous in person, the blue topaz is perfect.
