The ring is excellent. Beautiful. The only thing is that even with expedited shipping, the ring was a week late. We had a date set, well within the guaranteed shipping time. That was very upsetting for both of us. Customer service was so kind to lie about it's departure three times. The jewelry department lied twice about it's shipment. We would recommend this to a friend. We do love the ring. We would suggest ordering way ahead of time, following the tracking information, and having every detail of shipment.
Was excited for this product to finally arrive. Based on the reviews i ordered it despite the low quality diamond. However i went to various local stores to see what this quality of diamond really looked like and really wasn't all that bad especially since we wanted to keep on a budget. At first arrival and glance, it was beautiful. Stunning design, look and feel. Diamond wasn't overtly sparkling but wasn't "dead" either. Still had decent sparkle despite its apparent low quality. However upon closer inspection is when it all started going downhill. When you looked closer to the main middle diamond and had a reflection on it, you could see what appeared to be a crack or scratch on it. I then took it to a jeweler and he continued to tell me that the diamond had a crack (probably from an imperfection within it originally) and had progressed into a full blown crack on one side of it. Now not only is that visually disconcerting, but also put the diamond at risk of chipping off completely. So the diamond wouldn't even survive for very long! He even showed me under the microscope. Clearly visible crack running from the side to the top table of the diamond. Again, i realize that the product said it was an I2 - I3 but any diamond with a visible crack running on the table of the diamond goes well beyond an I2 or I3 quality diamond. If this is how its intended to be sold it should be quite clear on the product page. I2-I3 inclusions should NOT include complete cracks as confirmed by a number of jewelers Not only that, the middle diamond was .56 in size and NOT 3/4 as stated. 3/4 is .75. .56 is pretty much a 1/2 carat. Very misleading. I understand its a "range" but ranging from a half carat to almost a full carat is sort of a big deal. This is potentially hundreds if not thousands of dollars difference in value! The jeweler now has matched the exact same ring and stone sizes to a new ring hes making for me for the exact same price. In fact the quality of the main stone will be an S1 now, again, for the same price! Im assuming perhaps the other people who bought this didn't get the same product as i did or else there's just no way they would give it 5 stars. Again, not too sure if this was just me and if you managed to get a great and non cracked diamond ring from here, well good on you! My recommendation is to take the risk out of the equation and see the diamond yourself in person before purchasing. However, if you're OK with the whole return process and have time to potentially go back and forth until you get something spectacular for the price, then perhaps try it and see if your luck turns out better than mine. Good luck!
This ring is absolutely beautiful. I have been shopping for a ring for over three months and I was shocked by the price of this ring on line. I found several ring in the stores for over double the price...so glad I took the chance and ordered this ring. Very happy!!!
