While the charm is rather small, it is sturdier than some of the others I saw when I shopped around. It feels solid. The others felt flimsy and like they might break. We liked the contrast in color between the net and the ball. The one thing we did not like about the charm is the style of clasp/hook. We didn't think the clasp was appropriate for a necklace. I should have paid more attention when I bought it.
