I bought this for my wife on our anniversary. I had been looking in the malls and jewelry stores. I had picked out a couple of 1ct rings and even had one of them appraised at a seperate jeweler then where I had purchased the ring. My daughter in law then found this ring. I ordered it and took it to a local jeweler for a paid appraisal. The 11/2ct did appraise out for about what Overstock has listed in price. None of the diamonds had the rating of an I1 for clarity that overstock has. All of them rated out at I2. Color was H, Overstock has it listed as H-I. The 1ct ring I had appraised, appraised out for more money because it was $400.00 more then this ring. The clarity was VS1's but the color was G and it looked a little yellow next to the 11/2ct ring from Overstock. I ended up choosing this 11/2 ct based on all the rings I had seen. For the money this was the best deal on a 11/2ct 3 stone ring I found. My wife loves the ring!!! The diamonds look big on her finger and they sparkle bright the light. The ring looks like the more expensive rings, I seen at the mall selling for $1500,00 more the I paid here.
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? First time
I received my ring and it is beautiful. I took it to a jeweler and they stated that the ring is actually 18k gold. This is not what I wanted fore 18k is too soft and scratches easy. I was told to keep an eye on the ring. It also came in a size 7-1/4 much to my surprise because Overstock stated only size six availble, which is the size I needed so I had to pay for sizing. But overall the color and clarity is just as stated.
