Don't waste your money
I pulled it out of the box and didn't even bother with opening the plastic wrapper it came in. It looked like dull brass rings looped together. The way that the rings were put together looked like someone used pliers to push them together because the end closures were not even and some had small spaces.

It's rather gaudy, it's bigger and a cheaper gold color than it looks in the picture. It kind of looks weird on (the picture just shows it lying flat.

Didn't compare to the price of this bracelet from others I've gotten. Light feeling and looked like plastic. Wouldn't recommend unless for cosmetic use.

NICE FOR PRICE ..
I didn't pay that much attention to the gold overlay being a flat/matte finish. Would have preferred a shiny gold but .. all in all .. the bracelet is pretty. Can be worn dressy or casual .. looks great both ways! Good purchase BUT .. remember, the finish is not a shiny gold!

not worth the bother
came apart at the first wear looked good and fit nicely but got caught on my sweater and the clasp fell off i was very disappointed as I always have good luck with ordering from overstock online
