I bought this as a birthday present for a friend. When I opened the box, it was so lovely, I was tempted to order another for myself. The sapphire is a brilliant dark blue and the diamonds add just the right amount of sparkle. My friend was thrilled with her gift! I can always count on Overstock for jewelry that's different, elegant, well made, and reasonably priced.

I have purchased a lot of jewelry online and I know that the pictures can be deceiving - but this necklace was one of those rare purchases when the item looks BETTER than the picture. The setting is really nice, the sapphire is a great color and the diamonds sparkle - what more could you ask for!?

clasp is a little too small to manage. Otherwise it is a beauty.

I got this sapphire pendant as a gift for my daughter-in-law's 30th birthday---(September birthstone) Another reviewer commented that it reminded them of Frank Lloyd Wright & I agree that if he had designed jewelry; he could have created this pendant. I received this as a Christmas gift - couldn't be more pleased! The arrangement reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright windows - the linear style of arts and crafts movement, yet modern enough to be relevant now. The saturation of the sapphire is perfect - noticeably blue, not at all dark to be mistaken as black. The diamonds sparkle very nicely too - I agree with above, it is much prettier in person than in the ad! The chain is delicate, but the bail on the pendant is large enough to accommodate many types of thicker chains. Have received many compliments on this piece - craftsmanship is top notch, would highly recommend it!

this was a good product, gave it tomy wife and she lovedit , you can tell it good quality, the diamonds are noticeable enough, the only thing is that the saphire is really dark looks black unless put to strong light.
