I got on this site basically because after visiting about five jewelry stores I hadn't found a sales person that I could even remotely trust. By that time I had seen enough diamonds to know what specs I wanted. It was easy to browse overstock's inventory and find the right diamond. Compared to other prices I was quoted, I probably saved several hundred dollars. Maybe it's possible to do a little better on price somewhere else, but overstock was easy and their customer service was great. Also, she loves her ring and tells me she gets compliments all the time.
