I received this ring as a birthday present from my thoughtful bf. It is very beautiful and very big, the color is gray/green depending on the way the light hits it. The diamond accents along the side are very pretty as well and compliment the pearl just enough to draw the eye to the unusual band design. The pearl is big and tall, I don't get it caught on anything suprisingly except when I reach into tight jean pockets! There is only one thing I can say about it that is not perfect.....the pearl's appearance. The pearl has three imperfections on/in it, they look like tiny dents or dings. I've never had real pearls before so I don't know how common this is, but I don't mind even though they are easily visible. I just thought I should mention it in case your on the fence about it.
