Not a 'Ready' Gift
While this pair of earrings was a deal initially, other costs have a purchaser break out just about even. The studs are smaller than advertised, only about 3mm x 3mm including prongs. The diamonds also arrived cloudy and the gold dulled, requiring a local jeweler to clean them. Also, the backings were terrible at staying, so I opted to upgrade to screw-backs. If your local jeweler has a free inspection and cleaning service, then by all means, these are a great deal, just don't expect to be able to wear them right out of the box.

Poor Quality
I ordered two pairs from this website. Usually like shoppind here for clothes and shoes etc. Unfortunately the diamonds were of very poor quality. I didn't expect much for the price but these are not as great as some others have mentioned in past reviews. I purchased the last pair that was available in white gold and that maybe the reason that it is such poor quality.

Exceptional Value!
I ordered the 1/4 carot ones 1st for my mom's bday but they were too small - so i exchanged (super easy exchange policy) for the 1/3 carot; these were perfect. I was very impressed how clear and sparkily they were. Only disappointment was the cruddy box they came in. I found a jewler who sold me a nice velvet box for $5.00 - so worth the effort.

My daughter is a Graduate Gemologist so any time I purchase jewelry - it is subject to her professional eye. She thought they were a good solid value and that the description was accurate. I just wanted small diamond studs for my second hole to wear with my larger diamonds so they had to match - they do and they were a good solid value. If SHE'S pleased - I know they were.
