I bought this necklace for myself, im 21 years old and i was afraid that it might look too old on me. but when i received it and put it on, i got ALOT of comments on it. I read on some reviews that said pearls were oval and not round. If you look at it closely and examine it, you can tell. but when i was wearing it you couldnt see at all. The 18" length is just PERFECT i couldnt complain!!! everything about this product was superb...i would buy this again for my mom and friends. i def. recommend it for someone who is looking for a pearl necklace. also, when i got it. i had to hang up it for about 3 hours so it got straight. which isnt that big of a deal at all.

I would definitely recommend giving this as a gift to impress friends... every woman is sure to appreciate a classic pearl strand. The slight variations in the pearls make it absolutely unique and it's a great bang for the buck. I bought both the white and black for myself and 4 more to give as gifts. The only negative some might think is that the necklace seems short, but I love that about it! They are also comfortable. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Beautiful necklace. The pearl color was excellant. I couldn't have been more pleased. This is a must have piece of jewelry. The price was unbeatable for this necklace. I wear it all the time. It goes great with jeans as well.

Beautiful pearls for price! Purchased for 19 yr & she wears them with everything almost daily. Perfect size for teenager. Gave 4 stars for appearance due to some larger blemishes on 2 or 3 pearls toward clasp, but they are not noticable when wearing. I have purchased previously form "O" & will do so again!!

I scored without see ing this necklace in person because it was a gift to my grand-daughter in n.c. She had mentioned she would like a pearl necklace to wear for her senior pictures If she was pleased with it and didn't want to return it it scored5stars. great price

Agree w/ a previous reviewer that this strand is a little stiff. However, this is my first set of pearls so I don't really care about that; they look nice, and I am just happy to have something decent-looking at a decent price.

Although there were more flatter pearls than I had hoped for, all in all it was a nice string of pearls for the money. They have a very nice luster to them, and SHE liked them, so that's really all that matters anyway.

I may already have sent a review the other day - I was interrupted and am not sure if I sent it or not....Necklace is very nice - only thing is it is a tad too tightly strung so necklace sometimes gets little bend in it and does not hang straight - but not too ofte. All in all a very good value.

You get what you pay for at Overstock. The necklace wasn't quite what I expected. The pearls were from China, called akoyas, were very well matched and beautiful. I did like the tight stringing but there wasn't gold tips at the ends to connect to the 14K clasp. It would have cost probably 25 cents to put 14K tips at the ends to connect to the clasp instead of the string connection. The necklace would sell for about $20.00 US in China and $75.00 or more at a retail store in the US. If it had the gold tips at the ends it would sell for $100.00 or more in a US retail store. So, I feel that I got a fair deal but would have been much more impressed if the tips were of gold. All in all, you get what you pay for at Overstock.

The Pearl Necklace looks beautiful. I received compliments when I wore it for the first time to church this past Sunday. The price was excellent, I am happy with my product. The only thing I did not like they would not let me ship to my PO Box. I had to ship to my work address which was scary because the small package the necklace came in could have gotten lost. They need to change this policy about shipping to PO Boxes because I am not home during the day. Thank you

I wanted a necklace that was like the one worn by Julia Child and this is it. The necklace is a perfect size and goes well with everything.

The necklace had a pinch in it that did not seam to ease up with wearing. Because the necklace was so stiff it does not fall as nicely on the neck as a more expensive set of pearls would. I am not to disappointed as it didn't cost much, but don't expect a luxurious set of pearls.

I purchased the necklace as a gift. I was very pleased with it. The reviews I read prior to purchase were helpful. The pearls are not black -- they are multicolored, but I found it to be very pretty and I think will go with a lot of different outfits.

The pearls were lovely--what I saw was what I got and the price was right. The clasp is a little in-convenient in that it is so fine and I had to stretch the strand for a few hours. to straighten it. I was delighted with the comments that I got on "my pearls".

I purchased this beautiful freshwater cultured pearl necklace for my wife for our anniversary. The price was very reasonable for a necklace of this quality. The pearls are not perfectly round like saltwater pearls which would be at least three to five times the price, but you cannot tell unless you are inspecting the item very closely. The pearls are all uniform in shape, size, color, and lustre. They have a very subtle but charming lustre. They are all slightly oval. The clasp that everyone has been complaining about would be hard to attach by oneself, but that is what husbands are for. I had no trouble figuring it out; and, in fact, I think that the design of the clasp makes it much less likely to come apart on its own. To me this is important, because the risk of loss of the necklace is therefore highly unlikely.

I bought these pearl necklaces for my granddaughters. Each necklace is beautiful and well made! My granddaughters will Love them! The price was great and I have spent months looking for a good vaule and I found it at Overstock.com. I would recommend this pearl necklace to anyone that is looking for a beautiful necklace. :D
