Beautiful ring for women with long fingers!
This is an absolutely beautiful ring but it is not for women with short fingers and small hands. I would have liked it to have a wider band around the sides and back, as it does tend to slide over to the side at times. I still love it though, it is very dressy, and the stone is so pretty.....

Not Like The Picture!
I just received this ring, after having bought one for my best friend who adores hers. Since she didn't see the picture, she had no idea what to expect, but I did. The setting has been totally redesigned for some god awful reason. Instead of the prongs holding the stone, it's white gold coming up both sides, completely covering up the long sides and part of the top, so that no light can come through. It almost makes it look like a cheap knockoff version of the real thing. Instead of 4 prongs and a sparkly stone, it's all set down in gold and looks flat and cheap. What a way to ruin one of the best cuts for a stone - the cushion cut. The rest of the ring is beautiful, though. Would have been my favorite. But I'm returning it, and after confirming with my best friend, hers is the same way but she's okay with that. It's up to you, but be aware, it's not like the picture anymore!!!

Very nice
This ring is quite large, but understated at the same time. The diamond accents are microscopic in size, but the amethyst is a beautiful, very light green color. Fun to wear in the evening on those dressier occasions.

Just okay
I was REALLY looking forward to receiving this ring, but was disappointed when it came. The stone was a lot paler than the photo... so pale that at first glance I thought the setting was empty (I thought maybe the stone had fallen out during shipping or something). Also, the setting was heavier and less detailed and beautiful than it looked in the pictures. I returned it.
